You just will fall in love once again with Turkey on this magical trip to Datca Old Town and the surrounding area.
In days gone by, often raided by Pirates because of the many islets and islands, Datca Old Town is something to behold!!
Bougainvillea gives a breathtaking beauty to the quaint colourful streets and houses, the traditional character of the place has been kept alive by the restoration of old houses, and new ones must be built in a comparable style.
The fertile valley it nestles in boasts olive groves, valonia, almonds and other fruit trees. You can rest under mulberry trees with a drink in hand and watch the world go by. There is even an old olive mill in the centre.
Vehicles are blocked from entering, its only a short walk from our drop off point to centre, the you will wander through amazingly beautiful narrow winding streets, admiring the many wondrous shops selling local and artesian goods. We are sure you will find something to remember your trip by!!
You will see the wonderful views over the sea, and perhaps even catch a glimpse of the Greek island of Tilos. You may even see the Mediterranean Monk Seals basking off shore.
Our day starts around 8 am when we collect you from your chosen pick up point. After welcomes and introductions we will drive to one of our favourite breakfast restaurants which will take around 1 and a quarter hours to get there. You will be offered a veritable feast - freshly baked breads, jams and honeys, cheeses, fruit, salads and more to set you up for an amazing day whilst talking to your new friends.
After breakfast we will return to the minibus and will drive to Datça, Mesudiye, Hayıtbükü where you will breathe just the peaceful atmosphere there. We will get our first swim stop of the day there. When lunch time comes, we will be served the most delicious light lunch to keep some space for our amazingly beautiful dinner.
After spending a couple of hours there, we will head to one of the biggest wine yards to taste some variations of Turkish wine.
When we finish our wine tasting there around 4pm we will drive to one of the most beautiful town which is called Old Datça which will take 10 minutes to get there and where you will be welcomed by beautiful restaurants, bars, clothes boutiques.
You will be unbelievably impressed while walking on the colourful streets.
You will have chance to do some shopping, or just wandering around the town or just sit at one of the bars till we get our delicious dinner. Our dinner restaurant is run by a beautiful local couple who are serving some traditional Turkish foods and all kind of grilled meats. You definitely have vegan and vegetarian options too.
After dinner around 8pm we will join the minibus once again and drive back to Dalyan or your pre agreed drop off point.
